On the way, we stopped in Mitchell, SD to visit the Corn Palace. Best description - That's Corny!!!
Initially it was very foggy this morning with less than 1 mile visibility. The further west we drove the better the weather got. When we were in the Badlands, it was sunny and 75F. Very nice day.
We drove past Mount Rushmore this afternoon and the drive through the Black Hills was quite different than the Badlands. Very hilly and lush.
Tomorrow we will spend the day at the Crazy Horse Monument checking out the progress since the last time we were here (16 years ago!).
